Whats happening at the intersection of North Oakland and West Oakland, between Emeryville and Rockridge and Piedmont.
part of this area is called Tesmescal or lower Temescal, another part is called Ghost-town by some. Then theres Broakville (the nub of Oakland between Berkeley & Emeryville), and from there it all just gets too esoteric to get into in a tribe intro. Not without another beer anyway.
One guy wanted me to call it West Mac or fight him,
some folks swear this is all part of West Oakland, some inform us that its considered North Oakland, so lets just call it NorthWest Oaktown so we can all get along..
